About Bang Phli
Bang Phli is located in Thailand, just outside of Bangkok. It is primarily home to manufacturing companies and is quickly becoming more developed. As the developments continue, there is great need for construction workers, primarily migrant workers from Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos. Construction workers live with their families on the construction site until work is completed and they move on to their next job. The low income and constant moving makes it difficult, if not impossible, for the children of construction workers to go to school. Construction of Hope began as a way to provide an education for these kids.
Children’s Home
Our children’s home in Bang Phli continues to grow thanks to the efforts of Pastor Vino and his team. In the morning, the kids are led in a Bible study, prayer, and worship. The rest of their day is spent learning important life skills, like gardening and baking, and attending classes. Every week the students learn English, Thai, Khmer, math, art, music, and soccer. Volunteers often come to teach special classes such as financial literacy and computer skills.

Leadership Training
Every day at the learning center, children are taught to be leaders to those who are younger than them. The oldest students are often given responsibilities to help teach the younger children, ensure chores are done well, and work with peers on difficult projects to build each others’ skills. Pastor Vino and his team know each student and teach them how to be responsible servant leaders.
Discipleship
Discipleship is at the heart of what we do at Construction of Hope. From the first day a child enters our program, they are taught about the love and hope of Jesus Christ. They participate in daily BIble studies, sing worship songs, and learn how to pray. Students are taught how to study the Bible on their own and in small groups as soon as they are old enough to read. As the students become more mature, they are taught to lead their classmates in worship and prayer, to give testimonies of what God has done, and to share their faith with others during outreach events. It is evident that God is at work daily.
